St. Elias The Prophet Church 25th Anniversary January 31 2009
On January 31st we had the joy of welcoming Archbishop Cyril Bustros to St Elias parish for our 25th Anniversary Celebrations. Archbishop Cyril was pleased with the progress of the parish, the welcoming spirit of our community, and with the anniversary celebrations. More than 150 people attended our Anniversary Banquet, following a special service of Great Vespers in St Joseph Ca-thedral, attended by more than 100 people, presided over by Archbishop Cyril and Bishop Patrick McGrath of San Jose, and celebrated by Father James, Father Deacon Tareq Nasrallah from St Anne Church, North Hollywood, and Father Deacon Kyrill Pagacz from Our Lady of Fatima Russian Catholic Church in San Francisco
